About ANCET

Empowering Alaska Native Communities

The Alaska Native Coalition on Employment and Training (ANCET) was formed in 1982 and incorporated on June 21, 2002. It is comprised of representatives of the Alaska Native regional non-profits and serves to advocate and promote opportunities in education, employment, and training to increase economic development for Native people, Tribes, and Tribal organizations.

ANCET held its first biennial conference in 2023, the next conference is planned for 2026.

Mission

To serve as an Alaska Native unified voice advocating and collaborating with state-wide and federal partners to advance workforce development initiatives while protecting the self-determination of our members.
